31st International System Safety Conference

August 12-16, 2013 | Boston Marriott Copley Place | Boston, Massachusetts, USA

The 31st International System Safety Conference is complete. Our theme for 2013 was "Safety for the Long Run." We looked at parallels between preparing for a marathon and the elements of an effective system safety program, things like proper training, a well thought out plan, a good start, avoiding obstacles and distractions, and keeping enough in reserve for a successful sprint to the finish. We brought practitioners and the foremost thinkers within the system safety discipline together to exchange ideas, knowledge, experiences and best practices. Please view our conference program, general presentations, and photos below to see what you missed if you did not attend, or to reflect upon, if you did.
